COVID Resilience Resources Weekly Update Volume 15: July 6, 2020
With July now upon us and the season in full swing we have noticed a decline in new COVID-19 related agricultural resources. In light of this OEFFA will move away from weekly updates and instead send urgent updates on the agricultural impact of the ongoing pandemic on an as needed basis.
We will continue maintaining our COVID-19: News and Resources page, so please reference that page for any COVID-19 related agriculture information you need. If you cannot find what you need there, or if you need more information, please do not hesitate to contact our staff with your questions.
PPP Application Deadline Extended
The Paycheck Protection Program began accepting applications again on July 6th and will accept applications until August 8th. If you are considering a PPP loan but have concerns about meeting the requirements for loan forgiveness, watch this Farm Commons webinar on PPP loan forgiveness.
Rural Resilience: Farm Stress Training Self Directed Learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of stress and suicide, effectively communicate with people under stress, reduce stigma related to mental health concerns, and connect farmers and ranchers with resources. Includes three units that participants complete at their own pace.
Donate or Become a Member
During this difficult time, OEFFA is responding to the new and urgent challenges faced by family farmers. If you find value in these resources and OEFFA's work, and you're able to afford it, please consider making a donation or becoming a member, so we can continue to help others. Together, we'll get through this and grow.
