COVID Resilience Resources Weekly Update
Volume 13: June 22, 2020

Organizations continue to provide timely and relevant COVID-19 resources for farmers and local food leaders. To help you navigate this overload of information, below is a summary of the most relevant resources and webinars we've collected over the past week. Look for it in your inbox every Monday early in the afternoon until this crisis subsides.

National Farm To School Network COVID-19 Relief Fund

NFSN created a COVID-19 Relief Fund to support the efforts of organizations that are helping kids and families continue eating, growing and learning about just and sustainable food – and farmers continuing to produce and supply it – during this global pandemic. Applications are due July 6th. organizations that directly serve and are led by Black people and Indigenous people will be prioritized in application review


The USDA began making Coronavirus Food Assistance Program payments and released its initial data. If you applied for CFAP, or plan to apply, please let OEFFA know about the status of your application and tell Farm Aid and NSAC about your experience by filling out their confidential Farmers Feedback Form. Local Food and the Future of Agriculture

Join a facilited conversation about how COVID-19 has exposed the weaknesses of our food system and what a future food system could look like. Featuring Tim Van Meter of Methodist Theological Seminary Ohio and Kip Curtis of OSU Food Innovation Center, with facilitation from OSU Environmental Anthropologist Anna Willow.
